U.S. Air Force Has Extended the Life of the F-16

It’s not dead yet.

According to a recent release from Lockheed Martin, the U.S. Air Force has extended the life of the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Up to 300 F-16s will remain in use until at least 2048, upon completion of Service Life Extension Program (SLEP) structural modifications.
