Tennessee’s legislature will likely pass a bill this week making fantasy sports betting legal. Last night the House passed the Fantasy Sports Tax Act, which would allow online sports betting sites to operate in the state—after obtaining a license and paying a gambling tax, of course. It’s a near slam-dunk, since the state Senate has already passed a similar bill and just has to agree on the changes made in the House.
