Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles | Gaming Throwback

This badass game hit arcade cabinets in 1989 and was THE game to play with your buds. It’s a side-scroller, beat-em-up as you play the classic heroes from the hit cartoon. The TMNT game brought so much to the cabinet. Right off the bat, it was one of the first to offer four-person co-op fighting. Just don’t be that noob asking for more quarters. Pick from Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, or Donatello. Each have their iconic weapons and special hits. (You got to push jump and attack at the same time…like every other game.) The vibrant colors and artstyle makes every Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fan feel right at home. Plus the game has the soundtrack and voices from show. And don’t forget about the bosses. Each of the five levels give you the opportunity to beat up those pesky villains like Bebop and Rocksteady. Did you know TMNT is called "Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles" in Europe? And THIS screenshot is worth those 40 quarters. Who was your favorite character to fight as? Let us know in the comments!
